It's a small world on the International School for Social and Business Studies, 08. june 2010

 

 

Renowned international experts at ISSBS 

Each year ISSBS includes foreign higher education teachers in the study process with the intent to contribute to the exchange of expertise and to strengthen international cooperation.

In the past month ISSBS was visited by several renowned foreign professors and experts from around the world. Their lectures were carried out within the master study programme Knowledge Management which is being implemented for the third year.

Such visits in Celje have strengthened cooperation between ISSBS and different partner universities from the USA, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, from whence visiting professors have come. Thier visits to our faculty and represent the foundation for cooperation in various projects and initiatives in the future.

By active international cooperation ISSBS intends to attract more demanding students from the region and offer them high quality and advanced courses to enable them to obtain quality education to be competitive in the Slovenian and international environment.

This year the first international Summer School in Celje

 

From 24th June to 9th July 2010 ISSBS will carry out a Summer School programme with the title "Learn To Innovate and Global Business." Summer School's main focus will be on practical development of participants' creative thinking and innovation in the field of Entrepreneurship and International Business.


Summer School participants will be students from different European countries. In addition to acquiring new knowledge and experience participants will also have a chance to enjoy summer and make new friends in the international group of participants.

The city of Celje is becoming an active higher education centre in the region  which is interesting for both Slovenian and foreign students and professors, and enriching social life in the city.
