Dr. Nada Trunk Širca, Associate Professor

Nada Trunk Širca holds a PhD in Management in Education from the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. She has been active in higher education since 1995. She was a director of the Higher Education Centre in Koper, an acting dean of the College of Management in Koper and a director of the Secretariat of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI). She is a member of various committees at home and abroad, e.g. the Council of the RS for General Education, the National Commission for Quality in Higher Education, and the European Educational Research Association (EERA), Edinburgh, England. Her research interests include management, quality and evaluation in tertiary education, and the introduction of lifelong learning in higher education.
