Climate
There are three climatic influences that meet in Slovenia. First
is harsh Alpine climate that prevails in the mountains, the coast has a
sub-Mediterranean climate, and the north-east lowlands have a
continental climate. Celje has the continental climate. The average
temperature in Slovenia is above 20°C in July, and around 0°C in January
(Slovenian Tourist Board, 2011).
