Visa information

The Republic of Slovenia is European Union Member State.

 

Citizens of the EU Member States are therefore not required to hold a visa for the entry into the Republic of Slovenia. Also, they are not required to hold a residence permit during the first three months following their entry into the Republic of Slovenia.

ALBANIA

 

Visa is not required for holders of a biometric passport. In addition visa is not required for holders of diplomatic and service passports up to 3 months.

SERBIA

 

Visa is not required.

Exceptions: Holders of non-biometric passports of Serbia still require a visa for a stay of up to 90 days. The visa is needed also if the passport (even biometric) is issued by "Koordinaciona uprava".

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

    

Visa for a stay up to 90 days is not required for holders of biometric passports.

IRAN

 

Visa is required. Visa is required to enter an airport transit area too (airport transit visa).
