Dr. Peter Meža, Assistant Professor
Peter Meža graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the field of industrial engineering. He continued his postgraduate studies in the fields of quality management and project management. In 2005, he received a PhD for the dissertation "Entrance and Agress Information Classification in the Model of Service Work Order Development".
As a product manager, he has for several years participated in/managed numerous projects of developing new products and re-engineering products and business processes. He has extensive practical experience in marketing, development, product marketing management and product life cycles, and in-depth theoretical and practical skills which he occasionally presents to the expert public in professional papers and at seminars and conferences. His professional and academic career has been shaped by the industry which requires continuous assessment of knowledge and company growth in a competitive environment.
His research and educational work focuses on the fields of product management, production management, marketing management, product development, quality management, project management, marketing, supply chain management and aftersales management.
At the International School for Social and Business Studies, he is an assistant professor of Fundamentals of Management, Organization and Management, Management and Theory of Organizations, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management.
Peter Meža is a member of the supervisory board of the Slovenian Association for Project Management (ZPM), a member of the Celje Club of Entrepreneurs Zlatorog, a member of the Rotary Club Velenje and an honorary member of the Ski-Jumping Club Velenje.
